Corey Mood, PA, attended the University of Colorado – Boulder and graduated with a bachelor of arts in kinesiology. He completed the Child Health Associate – Physician’s Assistant program at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 2006. Following his time on the CU Anschutz Medical Campus, Corey went on to complete a 12-month orthopedic residency at the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. While there, he gained experience in trauma, joint replacement, sports medicine, upper extremity and spinal surgery. Throughout his career, he’s assisted in more than 3,500 surgical cases, with a focus almost exclusively on orthopedic trauma in Level One Trauma centers.
“I love the unique challenges and variety of fracture care,” he said. “Just like fractures, every patient is different and requires flexible guidance to make a full recovery and meet their full potential after an often unplanned and significant life event.”
